Have you not turned your vision into those who had left their houses fearing defeat even though they were thousands? Then Lord Allah told them: “You die”, after that He revived them; indeed, Lord Allah is having Bounty for mankind, but most of mankind is ungrateful.
By quoting an event which happened before, the Three-Time-Knower Lord Allah is encouraging the Messenger and believers for doing ‘Jihad’ in the cause of Lord”. It is told in verse 8: 24: “Oh those who believed, give your response to Lord Allah and His Messenger whenever he called you to anything that will give your life; and you know that indeed Allah is in between the person and his heart, surely unto Him you all will be summoned”. For the martyr in the way of the Lord, all their sins will be forgiven except the debts. It is taught by the Lord through His Messenger that those who become a martyr in the way of the Lord will wish to come again to the World and to be martyr again because of the splendid rewards and enjoyments they have there. Based on this teaching Caliph Umar, Usman, Ali, etc. who participated in the ‘Battle of Bad’r’, the ‘Battle of Uhud’, the ‘Battle of Khandhaq’, the ‘Battle of Thabook’ and the battles after the Messenger’s departure used to pray for martyrdom? That is why they were killed by the hypocrites and became Martyrs.
Today there is no group of believers anywhere in the world, and so there is no fighting or killing for the sake of the Lord. The odd believer should do Jihad with Adhikr against the hypocrites and Kuffar as commanded through verses 9: 73; 25: 52 and 66: 9. The one in a thousand becomes a believer who will transform his Jinn soulmate into a believer with Adhikr and keep Lord in his heart. He is aimful to give preference to the soul and Hereafter than this temporary worldly and bodily life. He will change his ledger from Sijjeen of Hell (83: 7) into Illiyeen of Paradise (83: 18) with Adhikr.
The Arabic Quran reading Fujjar who are bearing Lord’s Book as burden carrying donkeys are fond of bodily and worldly life, so they are fearing death. The Fujjar are denoted as the ungrateful disbelievers. Verses 12: 38 and 40: 61 end as: “Most among mankind are not grateful”. Verses 10: 60 and 27: 73 end as: “Allah is full of Bounty upon mankind, but most of them are not grateful”. See explanation 2: 94-96; 3: 145 and 9: 38-42.
